Arlington, VA, July 29, 2019—Ellumen, Inc., a trusted provider of professional services and IT solutions, was recently awarded a contract with the Department of Defense (DoD) for Business Support Services for the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA). The goal of this contract is to provide services to support all aspects of USAMMA’s mission to develop, manage, and perform end-to-end life cycle logistics for their medical equipment. Ellumen will provide analysis support in instructional design and performance support as well as subject matter expertise and functional support for multiple Systems Applications Products (SAP) Modules. These modules are necessary for facilitating full program coordination, management, policy development, execution, and requirements.

Acting as the Army Surgeon General’s central focal point and Executive Agent for strategic medical logistics, USAMMA contributes to the Army Medicine and the Military Health System across the medical materiel acquisition-logistics continuum in support of unified land operations. The agency’s mission is to develop, provide, acquire, and sustain world-class solutions and capabilities to enable medical readiness globally. Under USAMMA, Ellumen will update and create all required education materials as well as provide subject matter expertise and functional support for SAP Modules that control Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, Plant Maintenance, and Customer Assistance.
