army doctor.jpgEllumen Inc., a trusted provider of professional services and IT solutions, has been awarded a task order for sustainment of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Corporate, Waco, Indianapolis, Newark, Roanoke, Seattle System (CWINRS)—an application critical to processing and fulfilling Veteran health benefits and rehabilitation. CWINRS acts as a Case Management System allowing Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) staff to maintain accurate data in tracking and moving cases through the vocational rehabilitation process. Under this $2.1 million task order, awarded through the VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle, Ellumen will provide application sustainment to include quality assurance, project management, reporting, upgrades, and improvements. The Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) and the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) strive to provide high quality Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing benefits to Veterans, their dependents, and survivors in a timely and compassionate manner. Ellumen brings a rich portfolio of experience in sustainment services in dynamic government environments within the VA and Department of Defense (DoD) to support the OI&T/EPMO in achieving their goal.

Art Carroll, President of Ellumen says, “We are very proud to bring our technical expertise in sustainment and management of complex systems to the CWINRS contract because we understand how important it is to Veterans that their affairs are handled promptly and efficiently. We will ensure our Veterans and armed service members receive the benefits and rehabilitation they need and deserve.”

CWINRS is used by the VR&E at the VA Central Office (VACO) and in 57 VA Regional Offices (VARO) as well as outstations and VR&E case contractors for oversight and leadership. The work on this task order consists of a 12-month base period with three optional tasks. Ellumen Inc. is partnering with two service-disabled Veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) on the CWINRS task order: Technatomy Corporation, the incumbent contractor for this work, and WLF Solutions, a woman-owned small-business. The Ellumen Team will execute this task order at VA Central Office (VACO) in Washington, DC.

“This award is a testament to the technical ability of our team and our outstanding partners. We have a long history of successful sustainment contracts and knowledge of the complex systems in play here. We are eager to bring that experience to this effort to improve the lives of our Armed Service Members” says Carroll. This task order builds on Ellumen’s previous work sustaining the VA/DoD Record Sharing Initiative in which the company has proven to be a valuable partner in maintaining, operating, and managing mission-critical systems for the Federal Government.
